Dear Friends,
It is our pleasure to invite all students, colleagues and people interested in the Humanitarian Principle of the Desuggestive (Freeing) / Suggestive (Stimulating) Pedagogy Suggestopaedia to an International Scientific Conference on Suggestopaedia which will take place on 22 - 24 July 2010 in the town of Sliven, Bulgaria.
We will have the unique opportunity to hear the legacy of and ask questions to the creator of Suggestopaedia - Dr Georgi Lozanov. We will be able to exchange thoughts, to share experiences and to trace our common interests for the future development of our activities.

The conference will look into the questions : how suggestopaedia has changed the educational process worldwide by the introduction of the concept “reserve capacities communication”, what has been accomplished from the UNESCO recommendations and what remains to be achieved for the humanization of the educational process.
Papers and presentations are welcomed on all the issues discussed in the UNESCO recommendations as well as in the following relevant areas:

Suggestion and Desuggestion in the Learning Environment with Adults and Children
Suggestopaedia and the Joy of Teaching- In memory of Dr Gloria Marie Calendo
Application of Suggestopaedia as a Psychotherapy.
